To Whom It May Concern
Balbriggan Golf Club has been working with SOL Golf Course Construction Ltd since September 2007 on the re-design of our existing course. This project involves the construction of 17 new sand based greens and 16 new sand based tee boxes along with relevant water features and re-design of holes.
SOL was originally awarded the contract for the init9ial 4 holes which were carried our during autumn 2007. During this development we found their work to be of the highest standard with a great attention to detail. More importantly the feedback we were receiving from our members was very positive. This initial phase of development was opened for play in May 2008 to much acclaim then and since from all who have played it.
SOL have since been awarded the contract for the remainder of the business and this work is currently ongoing and due to be opened in May 2009. We in Balbriggan Golf Club believe we have formed a great partnership between both parties and it is very easy to work together to achieve the correct results. Their knowledge in the tasks they are undertaking is second to none. More importantly they have the manpower and machinery required to carry out all of the tasks. To this end I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any future construction project.Peter Slevin

I had occasion to visit Lahinch Golf Club some years ago for thee South of Ireland Championship when it became apparent to me that despite my many previous visits there were features to the back nine on the course that I never knew were there.
I was subsequently enlightened by some members that these features were in fact only constructed within the last year.
As it appeared to me that they had been there forever and a day and taking into account that we were about to embark on an upgrade of the course at Baltray. I immediately asked Lahinch Golf Club who carried out the changes, as I realized that this is the contractor that we need for Baltray.
It was of course S.O.L GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION Ltd. I am happy to say that on both occasions we have made changes to the courser, once for a significant upgrade and the second time for some tweaking ahead of the Nissan Irish Open, we have used SOL, their work has been thorough and most importantly has blended in immediately just as I first witnessed that year at Lahinch.Michael Delany

I wish to confirm that SOL completed all construction work here in Dooks Golf Club during our re-development programme between the years 2002 – 2005.
While on site they were the main contractors in the remodeling of 17 of our golf holes, including tee boxes, fairways and greens. As Dooks Golf Links is situtated on rich beautiful links land the club were always mindful that the construction work would have as little as possible disruption to the land an its surrounding environment. Having studied and seen previous work on similar links courses in Ireland the club employed SOL to complete our re-development over a three phase period.
The works in Dooks involved major movement of sand, the translocation of both heather and mar ram, the shaping of the new 17 holes and the finishing and turfing of the site. In this work we feel SOL worked very professionally and their management of the project was exceptional. They were very accommodating in their work and impressive in the way they liaised with all parties from architects, committees, irrigation contracts, agronomists and our environmentalists. With SOL’s management our project was completed on time and within budget, while allowing our members to have 13 holes open for play at all times.
It is also evident from the completion of the project the ability of SOL to implement Hawtrees design.
We as a members owned golf club are delighted and proud to have had SOL to implement Hawtrees design.
We as members owned golf club are delighted and proud to have had SOL involved in the re-construction of our golf course. We found SOL very efficient to deal with and the result of their work has been remarkable, gaining praise every day from our visiting golfers.

To whom it concerns
Enniscrone Golf Club is proud to have been associated with SOL construction since they first began work with us in 1999. At that time SOL carried out a major expansion of our links course involving sand dune relocation, construction of 6 new tees, 6 fairways and 6 greens. The work (1999-2001) was carried out with full environmental approval and was praised from all sides. In addition the sanding, hydroseeding and overall shaping, quality was second to none and today we can boast one of the finest links courses in Ireland.
When the club decided in 2004 to carry out a major change to our 18th hole, SOL were again employed to do this work and the result today is something to admire such is the quality of workmanship employed. We have found SOL construction to he most professional in their overall planning and most helpful when changes had to be made on site.
Currently, SOL construction are on site carrying out changes to 4 of our greens and once again top quality work is in progress. the fact that we were awarded the IGTOA Golf Course of the year 2008 is proof of the quality we have at Enniscrone.

For more than two years, efforts to develop the idea behind the world’s foremost training facility for golf have been going on. In May 2010, the construction of this unique golf arena begun.
Halmstad Golf Arena is a facility dedicated to the training of all the various situations found in golf. The facility will span 17 hectares and in the center lay a 365-meter long range flanked by grass tees on both sides.
Surrounding the range is a short game area for stroke lengths up to 140 meters with a 2170sqm large green in the center.
There is also a practice hole with four greens and nine tees.
The 900sqm large Sports Academy holds a high tech gym, swing studios with the latest technology and two meeting rooms for 75 and 40 people. Directly adjacent to the Sports Academy is the large putting green (1615sqm) and a chipping green (2000sqm) with bunkers of varying character suitable for both elite and amateur golfers alike.
The southeastern corner of the facility will be modeled after the famous "Himalayas" at "The Old Course" in St. Andrews. In this area, equivalent to a football field, stimulating challenges for both experienced golfers and beginners will be created.
The whole area has spectacular ocean views only 500 meters away. This combined with the links character the area will assume the overall experience will be complete.”Christian Lundin
